Extension to Three Storey House

Holton, Oxfordshire

This project was for alterations and extensions to an existing 3 storey house in Holton, South Oxfordshire. The clients were heavily involved in the whole project management and construction process, expertly helped by Sturmark Construction Services.

The house was in the Green belt and would ordinarily have been only allowed to be extended by 40% of the original volume. However, with help from planning consultants JPPC in Oxford the clients used their permitted development (PD) rights to establish that significantly more volume could be obtained via PD. Hence, at planning, this could be used as leverage to give them what they wanted.
